OVERVIEW
We are looking for a creative and proactive multi-disciplinary designer with solid experience. We’re looking for someone who can translate the spirit of a brief into something genuinely different and consuming. The successful candidate should be resourceful and flexible enough to attend to the needs of the company in the matters of external and internal communications, as well as to provide service to our clients when the possibility arises.
GOALS
- Establish a proper process related to the gathering, handling and execution of design requests from the multiple departments in the company, including client’s needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meeting clients or account managers to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job.
- Estimating the time required to complete a job.
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design.
- Using innovation to redefine a design brief within time and cost constraints.
- Presenting finalised ideas and concepts to clients or account managers when requested.
- Working with a range of media, including computer-aided design (CAD), and keeping up to date with emerging technologies.
- Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print.
- Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc, when necessary.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic design, Marketing, Advertising or a related field.
- Extensive experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
- 2+ years in professional commercial design, preferably with a marketing or creative agency.
- Adaptive design eye and skill.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients.
